Vynce

Terms of Service

Last updated: August 12, 2026

Welcome to Vynce. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility & Student Verification

Vynce is designed for college students and campus communities. Partier accounts require a verified .edu email address. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and that the information you provide during registration is accurate. Misrepresenting your identity, student status, or affiliation with any organization may result in immediate account termination.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Vynce lawfully and respectfully. You will not use the platform to harass, threaten, or discriminate against others; post false, misleading, or illegal content; organize or promote illegal activities (including underage drinking, drug use, or unauthorized gatherings); spam, scam, or impersonate others; or attempt to disrupt the service. Event organizers are solely responsible for the events they post, including legality, safety, capacity, and any age restrictions.

3. Events, Tickets & Payments

Vynce facilitates discovery and ticketing but is not the host or organizer of any event. All ticket sales are processed through Base44 Payments. Tickets are non-refundable except in the case of event cancellation by the organizer. If an event is canceled, you will receive a full refund. Service fees are non-refundable except in cases of organizer-canceled events. Event organizers set their own pricing, capacity, and policies. Vynce is not liable for event quality, safety, or attendance.

4. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, videos, stories, comments, reviews). By posting, you grant Vynce a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the platform. Stories and temporary posts expire automatically. Do not post content that infringes on others' rights, is unlawful, or violates others' privacy. Vynce reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms.

5. Privacy & Data

Your email, campus, and profile information are used to personalize your experience and connect you with your campus community. Your approximate location may be used for crowd reports and event recommendations. Your email is visible to organizations you interact with (RSVPs, tickets, follows). You can manage privacy settings from your profile. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. For full details on what data we collect and how device permissions (camera, photo library, location, contacts) are used, please review our Privacy Policy.

6. Organization Accounts

Organization accounts (bars, fraternities, clubs, promoters, sports houses) must accurately represent their entity. Organizations must have proper authorization to operate and host events. Vynce reserves the right to verify, approve, suspend, or remove organization accounts. Organizations are responsible for all events, promotions, and communications posted under their account.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Vynce is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of event information, the safety of events, or the reliability of other users. Vynce is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to event-related incidents, payment disputes between users and organizers, or interactions with other users. You use Vynce at your own risk.

8. Platform Role and No Alcohol Sales

Vynce is an event discovery, RSVP, and analytics platform. Vynce does not sell, serve, deliver, or provide alcohol. Vynce is not a licensed alcohol retailer or a party to any alcohol sale. All alcohol service is provided solely by the venue/organization hosting the event ("Host"), which is solely responsible for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local alcohol laws, including age verification at the point of service.

9. Age Requirements

Users must be 13+ to create an account and provide a valid .edu email for verification. Users must accurately provide their date of birth. Content referencing alcohol specials or promotions is only displayed in full to users who have verified they are 21 or older. Event visibility, RSVP, and general event details are available to all verified users regardless of age; this does not constitute permission, encouragement, or invitation for any user under 21 to purchase or consume alcohol.

10. No Liability for Venue Conduct

Vynce is not responsible for, and disclaims all liability arising from, any Host's service of alcohol, over-service, failure to check ID, venue safety conditions, or any injury, loss, or damage occurring at or in connection with an event listed on Vynce. Users assume all risk associated with attending third-party events discovered through Vynce.

11. Host Responsibilities and Indemnification

Hosts represent that they hold all licenses required to serve alcohol at their venue and agree to comply with all applicable ABC/liquor laws, including age verification. Hosts agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vynce from any claims arising from the Host's service of alcohol or conduct of the event.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Vynce, its officers, directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the platform or any event listed on it. Vynce's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these terms or the platform shall not exceed the amounts you have paid to Vynce in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

13. No Promotion or Endorsement of Alcohol

Vynce is a neutral third-party platform that allows organizations and venues ("Hosts") to list events. The presence of an event on Vynce, including any reference to drink specials or alcohol availability, does not constitute promotion, advertisement, endorsement, or encouragement of alcohol consumption by Vynce to any user, regardless of that user's age. All such content is created and controlled entirely by the Host.

14. Assumption of Risk

By creating an account and using Vynce, you acknowledge and agree that: (a) attendance at any event listed on Vynce is voluntary and at your own risk; (b) any decision to purchase, consume, or be present around alcohol at a Host's venue is made solely by you, in your personal capacity, and not at Vynce's direction, invitation, or encouragement; (c) you are solely responsible for your own compliance with all applicable alcohol and age laws; and (d) Vynce has no control over and assumes no responsibility for a Host's alcohol service practices, age verification at the point of sale, or conduct at the event.

15. Certification and Release

By checking the certification box at account creation, you affirmatively represent and agree to the above. This certification is recorded and retained as evidence of your acknowledgment and release of Vynce from claims arising from your voluntary decision to attend an event or consume alcohol at a Host's venue.

16. Host Sole Responsibility for Age Verification

Hosts are solely and entirely responsible for verifying the age of any individual to whom they sell or serve alcohol, regardless of that individual's activity on Vynce (including RSVP status). Vynce's platform does not verify, represent, or guarantee any user's eligibility to purchase alcohol, and hosts may not rely on Vynce data as a substitute for their own legally required ID checks.

17. Host Compliance Obligations

Organizations, venues, and groups that create or publish events on Vynce ("Hosts") are solely responsible for ensuring that their events, event content, and conduct comply with: (a) all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including alcohol service and age verification laws; (b) all policies of their school, university, or institution, including any policies governing registered student organizations, Greek life, or event/alcohol registration requirements; and (c) all policies, risk management guidelines, and requirements of their national or international governing body, headquarters, or chapter organization, where applicable.

18. No Review or Approval by Vynce

Vynce does not review, approve, endorse, or verify Host event content, including compliance with school policy or national organization guidelines, prior to publication. Listing an event on Vynce does not constitute Vynce's confirmation that the event or its content complies with any law, school policy, or governing body requirement.

19. Host Certification and Indemnification

By certifying compliance at onboarding and by publishing any event, a Host affirmatively represents that it has the authority and intends to comply with all obligations described above. Hosts agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vynce from any claims, damages, fines, or liabilities arising from the Host's event, including any violation of law, school policy, or national organization requirements, or any incident occurring at or in connection with the Host's event.

20. Suspension for Non-Compliance

Vynce reserves the right to remove event listings or suspend a Host's account if Vynce becomes aware of a violation of law, school policy, or national organization guidelines connected to a listed event, without that review obligation being read as an ongoing duty to monitor Host content.

21. Account Suspension & Termination

Vynce may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to the community. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your access to the platform and associated data will be removed in accordance with our data retention policies.

22. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Vynce after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
